Reduced inventories, firmer prices, and improved demand have allowed many of the stocks in the electronics industry to rally in the 4th qtr of 1999, and this trend is expected to continue through the year 2000 although the industry can be volatile. Expanding markets overseas, increased electronic content in many products, and expense reduction are other factors which are import to this industry's future. These stocks are timely for the year 2000, and many investors will find appealing opportunities in this sector.
