Establishing a shared vision under total quality management: theory and practice
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted among managers and employees of a Greek subsidiary of a US company in the international air freight and express business concerning attitudes toward implementation of a total quality management program. Survey findings on communication and employee involvement, commitment, management organization and leadership, and motivation are discussed.

A study of statistical process control: practice, problems and training needs

Of 10 United Kingdom companies that incorporated statistical process control (SPC) companies that most effectively used SPC-related activities developed procedures for employees lower in the organizational hierarchy. The most successful training needs focused on domain-relevant and conceptually concrete approaches.
