Flow and Internet shopping behavior: A conceptual model and research propositions
Article Abstract:
Flow is a useful construct for explaining consumer behavior in the context of computer-mediate environments. The conditions under which different dimensions of flow can facilitate different aspects of Internet shopping behaviors and the way in which the relationship is moderated by consumer related factors, the nature of the product and the nature of the purchase occasion are explored.

A study is conducted to reconstruct means-end chain theory and lifestyle within a dual-process model, incorporating a bottom-up and a top-down information processing route. The bottom-up route is defined as a hierarchical categorization process, and the top-down route as goal-directed action.
