With the motor racing gaining more attention, many Australian corporations are seriously contemplating over sponsoring the game. With the number of spectators increasing in many folds in 2004 as compared to 2003, many corporations are heading to convert their brand awareness in to sales. According to a survey report on this trend, it is observed that about 68% of sports fans are loyal to the brands they commonly use, V8 racing is very popular in individual states, and as fans have money to spend, 32% of them invest in property and almost 25% invest in shares.

Investors in Asia get bitten again
Article Abstract:
Australians investing in Asia have experienced difficulties recently. The 16 Australian unit-trust funds investing in Asian equity markets achieved an average return of around negative 20% in the year to June 30, 2001, from an average return of around 20% in the previous year. Stock market declines across the region have negatively affected the Asian funds.
