Now for plan B: failing to get enough investors interested in its magnesium smelter, AMC is working up a more attractive offer

New funding is being sought by Australian Magnesium Corp for its planned A$1.3 billion magnesium mine and smelter in Queensland, Australia. This facility will have production capacity of 90,000 tonnes a year, with 45,000 tonnes a year already being accounted for through a 10-year deal with Ford Motor Co. The format of a new equity raising is not yet certain.

Pacific Dunlop's unmaking
