Free-trade deadlock
Article Abstract:
Australia and the US will have to negotiate a free-trade agreement because of elections scheduled in both the countries towards the end of the year 2004 as the shortage of skilled people who will retire by the year 2009 is worrying analysts in the manufacturing industry. The tourism industry in Australia has been granted extra funding by the government because of an increase in the number of arrivals during the year 2003.
