Nike, Coke ads poke fun at NBA lockout
Article Abstract:
Nike and Coca-Cola are missing out with no NBA games to carry their ads, so both companies are running ads anyway because they want to maintain the NBA connection. Nike ads by Wieden & Kennedy and Coke ads by Lowe & Partners spoof the lockout. Sprite, meanwhile, has placed a few ads elsewhere, running commercials during shows like "Felicity" and "Dawson's Creek."
