Girl cleared to travel for abortion

Ireland's Supreme Court on Feb 26, 1992, cleared the way for a 14-year-old girl raped by a friend's father to travel abroad to receive an abortion. The ruling reversed an earlier ban on the victim's plans to travel to England for the procedure.
