Wannsee Holocaust museum opens

A villa in Wannsee, Germany, has been dedicated as a museum and a memorial to the Jewish Holocaust victims. A survey conducted in Germany indicated that 32% of the respondents felt that Jews were partly at fault for their persecution.

Article Abstract:
Some 8,000 to 10,000 people attended the dedication of the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC, on Apr 22, 1993. A survey indicated that 20% of high school students and 22% of adults believed that the Holocaust may not have occurred.

British author David Irving was ordered by the Canadian government on Nov 13, 1992, deported from Canada. Irving is known for denying the generally accepted accounts of the Nazi murders of Jews during World War II.
