Going with an HMO
Article Abstract:
Availing of the services of health maintenance organizations (HMOs) is a viable alternative to providing personel health care services. Factors to consider include the accessability and quality of services offered by the prospective organization. HMOs should also be selected on the availability of benefit design alternatives, plan costs and administration. To limit company liabilities arising from malpractice charges, it is suggested that a selection of HMOs be offered to personnel.

Mavericks!
Article Abstract:
A study has shown that up to 60% of personnel managers consider personnel motivation as the biggest problem for the company. This can be alleviated by recognizing that personnel fall into basically maverick and achiever-in-waiting classifications. Properly harnessing the potentials of these classifications require positive feedback techniques, proportionate compensation levels, constructive management of conflicts and formal training techniques.
