Article Abstract:
The Gorgon natural gas field was discovered off the coast of western Australia in 1980 but the gas will not enter the market until 2003. A new approach to tapping a gas field will be utilized. The market demand and the development process will be matched. The owners of the field have no reporting obligations because they are American and European oil companies.
