Lung cancer is a feminist issue
Article Abstract:
The five-year survival rate from breast cancer is approximately 80%, because of progress in screening, early diagnosis, and both physical and psychological treatment for victims, all of which result from increased financial support in these areas. In contrast, lung cancer's five-year survival rate is 10%, largely because so much less money is spent on lung-cancer research and anti-smoking campaigns.
