Daniel Grollo, a joint managing director of the Melbourne based company Grocon, is overseeing the development of 700 million dollar Queen Victoria(QV) site in the Melbourne central business district, while he has other projects worth one billion dollar which are under construction. Grollo states that the problems in the construction industry with respect to unions are the areas of concern.

The Australian Property Monitors (APM) reports fall in middle house costs in Melbourne and Sydney by 12.9% and 7.5% in the first quarter of March 2004.
