Large developers will lose interest in the state of New South Wales (NSW), with the state's decision to impose extra taxes on residential property, which would further dampen the existing, slow investment market in Sydney. However, the NSW is the first state to levy stamp duty twice on investment property owners when an investment property is bought and sold.
