Article Abstract:
Many of Australia's companies will need to reexamine current lines of business and production due to the Kyoto agreement on carbon fuel emissions. Strategies include generating ethanol for plastics from sugar cane and growing timber, as both activities absorb carbon. Carbon-intensive business such as steel, concrete, brick and transportation will require reduction.
