Article Abstract:
Delegation is an important part of organizational life. Many managers, realizing its importance, try delegation and fail. Managers who effectively delegate can extend their personal influence. Management responsibilities and ill-defined activities should not be delegated. Capable people should be chosen to perform delegable tasks. Some control must be excercised over the delegation.
