An adaptation of the book, 'Up The Organization' was made to deal with the problems of the 1980s. The purpose of this revised book is to help managers make their organization more effective. Characteristics which are important to consider when choosing a CEO are presented. Only a CEO with leadership skills can grow with a company. A CEO without leadersip skills can only stagnate with the company.

Restricted Stock: A Way to Attract and Keep No.2

Article Abstract:

Attract key executives by giving them stock with certain restrictions. Although a stock may be given as a bonus, actual transfer may be delayed several years to insure that the individual has remained with the company. The restricted stock benefits the company to a greater degree than incentive stock options because the company would not receive tax deductions on incentive stock options.
