Husband sues for half of wife's business ownership

All data in property valuations of a couple are relevant in case they end up in divorce. A court ruling on a divorce case prove in a company, which she inherited from her father. The court allowed the husband to receive $270,000 and 30,000 shares times $9, which can be paid quarterly over five years at 8% interest. The shares of stock were valued at $12 per share. The ruling was based on the fact that the wife was a minority owner who was unable to pay for the dividends and sell the shares in the public market.
