Improving opertions planning with learning curves: overcoming the pitfalls of 'messy' shop floor data

Learning curve analysis, at the detailed component level in a commercial manufacturing firm's production data, are worthwhile. By comparison of regression estimates, made at the detailed data level, and associated data aggregation, with 'messy' shop floor data helps to predict learning curve estimates with accuracy.
