In France, It's a Vintage Year for a New Security
Article Abstract:
A French investment firm has introduced an innovative security on the French stock market. The security consists of cases of fine French wines from 1982, a boom year for the French wine industry. Because the wines were purchased before wine prices skyrocketed, the security is reasonably priced. Although investors can take physical delivery of their wines, most are expected to choose to have them stored at a specified wine firm.
