Incremental organizational change in a transforming society: managing turbulence in Hungary in the 1990s
Article Abstract:
Liberalization and privatization of former state socialist economies of Eastern Europe have not created effective capitalist companies as quickly as many had expected. Overall, most enterprises that were examined are still operating in much the same way as they were in the mid-1990s, and privatization has not caused major shifts in strategy or structure.
