TNA Australia Pty Ltd has successfully faced the challenge of gaining credibility with overseas customers. The company, which manufacturers a rotary food-packaging system, established offices in the US and Britain, its main export markets, thereby gaining sales. Exports account for over 85% of TNA's sales in 1998. Information on other Australian Export Award finalists is included.

Evert time Geoff O'Reilly has started up a new company, he has made money from it. The Australian entrepreneur began with O'Reilly Computer, which he started in 1978 with $200,000 and sold in 1984 for $AS2 million, and he recently co-founded Platypus Technologies.
