Article Abstract:
Short-term economic forecasts for three major industrial countries are provided. Economic growth is expected to slowly accelerate in theUS because of domestic structural changes and a continuous growth in exports, while the downturn in Japan is projected to persist in 1993 and 1994. For West Germany, leading economic indicators point to a sluggish growth for the major part of 1993.

International economic outlook
Article Abstract:
A forecast of the economic outlook for the world for the second half of 2000 and into 2001 is presented. The world economy is expected to slow down during this time as monetary control is increased in major industrial countries.
