International joint ventures: a framework for analysis
Article Abstract:
The planning and implementation of international joint ventures are analyzed and an integrated framework is developed to assist managers and researchers in understanding various aspects of joint ventures. Aspects which are likely to lead to success include: extensive discussions of mutual objectives and commercial concerns; a careful analysis of likely obstacles; and an understanding of mutual expectations and contributions.

Relationships between Top Management Team Characteristics and International Diversification: an Empirical Investigation
Article Abstract:
Research shows that relationships between international diversification and top management team traits are more dominant within higher-performing rather than lower-performing companies. A higher degree of international diversification was found to be linked to management teams characterized by younger executives, shorter tenures, higher educational levels and broader international experience.

New CEO openness to change and strategic persistence: the moderating role of industry characteristics
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine whether and how newly selected CEO's influence strategic direction of their organization. The findings indicate a negative relationship between CEO's openness to change and post succession strategic persistence.
