Intuitive optimizing: experimental findings on time allocation decisions with newly formed ventures
Article Abstract:
An experimental analysis was conducted to find out how people divide their time between leisure and working activities, and how they allocate their working time for their new venture and wage job. The study was based on two questionnaire experiments with business and economics students. The findings of the study show that entrepreneurial behavior is dependent on whether the venture dominates the wage job, or vice versa, or none dominates the other.
