Investment company (income) industry
Article Abstract:
Stocks of the investment company (income) industry are rated as good investments, especially closed-end funds, for which continued growth is forecast. US economic conditions currently favor steady growth, producing favorable conditions for high-yielding investment companies. Rising utility stocks prices may result from favorable interest rates, and corporate stocks prices should follow. Municipal bonds are also recommended for young as well as older investors.

Investment company (income) industry
Article Abstract:
The bond market in the US has benefitted from the worldwide disinflationary trends in late 1997 and yield spreads on Treasury and corporate bonds have been tight. Investors, especially those in higher tax brackets, will find several good income bond funds.
