Article Abstract:
Both major Australian political parties have learned the wrong economic lessons from the federal election. The commitment to economic reform started to dwindle in 1996 after the elections and has continued to decrease in 1998. Tax reform is easier for people to accept than lower employment.

Article Abstract:
Australia plans to outsource the management of its property assets. The portfolio, which amounts to about $2.8 billion in property, costs $200 million per year to manage.
