Jobless rate drops to 5.6% in August
Article Abstract:
Unemployment fell from 5.7% in Jul 1995 to 5.6% in Aug 1995, which is also a drop from the 6.0% in Aug 1994. Analysts disagree as to how accurate the figure is since teachers returned to school in August instead of September and jobless rates for racial groups rose.
