Kentucky beats Syracuse for NCAA basketball title

The University of Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Syracuse University Orangemen on Apr 1, 1996, by a score of 76-67. This was Kentucky's sixth NCAA title, and it finished the season with a 34-2 record. Kentucky guard Tony Delk was voted outstanding player of the tournament.
