Managerial information behaviour: Relationships among total quality management orientation, information use environments, and managerial roles
Article Abstract:
The goal is to understand the role of general managerial information behaviour in influencing the success of a major organizational change effort. It is observed that Total Quality management (TQM) would generate different managerial information use environments, would require different managerial roles, and would thus involve different managerial information behaviors in order to foster successful TQM implementation.

The pursuit of constant organizational enhancement is the key concept in total quality management (TQM), and a learning organization (LO) makes use of principles that lead to organization learning and growth. The relationship between TQM and Peter Senge's five disciplines of LO are studied using correspondence and cluster analysis.
