Managers' evaluation of research design and its impact on the use of research: an experimental approach
Article Abstract:
A behavioral simulation experiment was conducted to assess the ability of practicing managers to gauge the effectiveness of research designs and use it in their decision making process. Results show that effective managers are cognizant of the importance of each of the research parameters in the research design and are willing to base their decision on the results. The results of the experiment show that experienced managers are well versed in the use and interpretation of research designs to be able to use them and their results in the decision-making process.
