The internationalization process and marketing activities: the case of Brazilian export firms
Article Abstract:
The internationalization process of Brazil as a means to attain economic growth is examined. The Brazilian policy represented a classical shift from import substitution to the diversification of export markets and products. It is shown that currency and marketing were the primary factors that contributed to export growth. The results validate the importance of financial flexibility as a tool for international trade.

Blueprinting the service company: managing service processes efficiently
Article Abstract:
The service provider is dependent on customer participation that causes difficulties in managing service processes efficiently and effectively. The well-known blueprinting technique based on the production-theoretic approach to identify starting points for improving process efficiency will be used.
