Managing R&D internationally
Article Abstract:
The 1992 Annual R&D Conference held in Manchester, MA from Jul 7 to 8, 1992 focused on the management of international research and development (R&D). Papers submitted to the conference discussed relevant R&D issues such as international technology agreements, adoption of the American-style management model, organizational communication and organizational culture. Successful implementation of quality management programs in R&D was likewise discussed in the conference.

The annual R&D Management Conference was held on Sep. 20-22, 1995, in San Miniato, Italy. Organized by the Scuola Superiore S Anna of Pisa, the conference started with a conference workshop on the subject of science parks, innovative companies and regional economic development policies. Several prominent names in R&D attended the conference, which tackled all kinds of issues related to R&D and its management.
