Mazda Australia and Nissan Australia have both maintained sales and profits despite restructurings at their parent companies. New products and marketing strategies should help the Australian units to continue strong growth. Sales at Mazda Australia increased 14.7% from 2001 to 2002, and Nissan Australia's sales grew 16%.
