Measuring the technological leadership of international joint ventures in a transforming economy
Article Abstract:
An analysis of four major industrial sectors in China reveals that international joint ventures continue to lead these industries in terms of technical efficiency, compared to domestic firms. The study involves input-output information on 2,147 business enterprises in China involved in textile, machinery and equipment, and telecommunications and electronics equipment.
