Modeling IS planning benefits using ACE
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine IS planning benefits using the Alternating Conditional Expectations (ACE) algorithm. A questionnaire survey was used to gather data from top IS executives from 450 firms in Singapore. Results showed significant nonlinear relationships between the determinant and benefits variables. The data can help business and IS managers effectively understand and manage these nonlinear relationships to maximize the potential of IS planning.
