St George is back, with a new plan of attack

St. George Bank merged with Advance Bank in 1998. The new bank will attempt to retain St. George's image for customer service and Advance's image for innovation. The $2.65 billion acquisition has decreased St. George's market share of the home loans and deposits markets. Portfolio is a new product the bank introduced to attract new customers and encourage current customers to purchase more bank products.
