Morrison Knudsen names its chairman, Dennis Washington, as president, CEO
Article Abstract:
Robert A. Tinstman announced his retirement from the role of president and CEO at Morrison Knudsen Corp., the Boise, Idaho, construction and engineering company. Replacing him will be its chairman, Dennis R. Washington, who will leave the day-to-day operations of the firm to managers. After billionaire Washington acquired the firm in 1995 rescuing it from Chapter 11, accounting problems were found prompting the firing of the then-current CEO and promoting Tinstman to the post.
