Dow Jones to expand newswire availability on Bloomberg screens

Dow Jones & Co. announced that it has reached an agreement to expand access to its Dow Jones Newswires through Bloomberg LP's 100,000 customer screens. The screens are divided approximately between the US and overseas locations. Dow Jones' announcement reflects the company's attempt to increased the number of outlets for its newswires. Presently, Dow Jones Newswires are distributed to over 280,000 screens around the world.

Fox and ESPN bolster sports web sites
Article Abstract:
Rupert Murdoch's Fox television network has spent millions of dollars on the relaunching of its Fox Sports Online website. The network has also more than tripled the number of employees it has in its online sports business. ESPN is also relaunching its on Internet site. The ESPN website is the most popular sports address on the Internet. ESPN is adding a sports store and faster access to the newly-named ESPN.com.
