Tomorrow's Network
Article Abstract:
Combining NCR's VRX inter-job queue facility and the proper communications development tool allows one to develop a network in which the terminals are managed by a transparent transaction processing monitor. This allows the terminals to communicate with any existing application and with the older TP-type monitor. Another benefit is that applications are run independently, thereby conserving resources.
