NatCon takeover fight lacks that old spark

Austrim's bid to purchase National Consolidated has caused different reactions from both companies' managing directors. Austrim's Alan Jackson believes that NatCon needs new capital to finance its research, development and manufacturing operations. NatCon's Doug Curlewis considers Austrim's bid of $.60 a share for NatCon inappropriate because it undervalues NatCon.
