Telstra, a telecommunication infrastructure company of Australia, is a near monopoly provider with a majority stake of government. The public investment in Telstra is providing 1.7 billion dollar a year to the federal budget. The company is facing regulatory, competitive, financial and regional policy issues for becoming fully privatized.
