Optimization in project coordination scheduling through application of Taguchi methods
Article Abstract:
Taguchi methods are used to analyze alternative schedules and resource allocation for better project optimization. This application shortens completion dates for a product development team's overlapping projects. The experiment's various iterations are thus detailed while being compared with other methodologies. Adding resources is unrecommended for pessimistic activity scenarios while delay costs, which can be affected by the activity order, are incomplete due to necessary market updates. However, this research demonstrates the potential to greatly increase net sales over five years.

Teaching project management through an information technology-based method
Article Abstract:
The use of annotated still image case studies (ASICS) method proved to be effective in teaching project management skills. ASICS, an information technology-based method, involves presentation of a current project management issue by a project manager to students at a distant location with the use of seven to eight still-images to the problem. Aside from project management, ASICS could also be utilized effectively on several courses such as management information systems, economic forecasting, business telecommunications and financial analysis.

Improving multiproject management by using a queuing theory approach
Article Abstract:
Consideration of queuing theory and stochastic processes concepts proved to be effective in enhancing multiproject management. Such processes specifically enable managers to gain deeper understanding of the delays and frequent overruns of projects undertaken by a multiproduct organization. In lessening penalty resulting from the delay of projects, it is suggested that organizations place higher priority on the schedule of projects with the highest penalty.
