Packaging & container industry
Article Abstract:
Packing and container industries observers believe that the financial results for the first three months of 1997, which are expected to be very good, will not be indicative of the lesser 2-3% gains anticipated for the total year. Domestic and international acquisitions by individual companies will be a good way for investors to gauge opportunities for 3- to 5-year potential growth in industries that do not rank high as entities but have a few companies, such as Owens-Illinois, with good investment possibilities.
