Dept of State Inspector General Sherman M. Funk released a report on Nov 18, 1992, on his investigation into allegations of improper searches of the passport files of George Bush's political rivals. Funk determined the files had been searched and that the Bush Administration probably knew about the searches.

Ohio jail siege ends after 10 die
Article Abstract:
The siege that started on Apr 11, 1993, at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility near Lucasville, OH, ended on Apr 21, 1993. At least one guard and nine inmates were killed during the siege, which started after inmates began to fight and take hostages.

The State Department reported that it found no evidence of transfers of antimissile systems or military technology from Israel to China. The State Department did accuse Israel of unauthorized sales of US weapons to Third World countries.
