Penniless Chief Executive
Article Abstract:
Brother Timothy, who is in charge of the Christian Brothers winery, runs a very profitable business venture, yet he himself is a poor man who owns nothing. At the age of eighteen he decided to join the Christian Brothers and dedicate his life to prayer, and, he thought, teaching science at a high school level. He was given the opportunity to be a wine chemist at the winery near the Napa Valley, and once there, with the help of many books and studying, turned himself into a respected wine maker. His employees are loyal, due, so they say, partly to Brother Timothy. He is content with his life, and this shows in his work, his employees, and the tremendous success of the Christian Brothers products.
