Peter Clemenger, gentleman and fierce competitor, goes out on a high note

After 53 years of experience in advertising and receiving a Business Review Weekly award in recognition of that experience, Peter Clemenger will retire as chairman of Clemenger BBDO. Clemenger, who turns 70 in November, 1997, has had a reputation for toughness in the industry. Business Review Weekly also gave awards to Ron Mather for best ad agency creative director and M&C Saatchi for hottest ad agency.
