Premier ousted amid refugee crisis

Twagiramungu, a moderate Hutu, was ousted by the Rwandan Parliament on Aug 28, 1995, in a dispute over the refugee issue. Pres Pasteur Bizimungu backed the ouster and also fired four cabinet ministers. Zaire agreed on Aug 24, 1995, to temporarily halt the deportation of Rwandan and Burundian refugees.

Yugoslav premier ousted by nationalist hard-liners
Article Abstract:
Yugoslav Premier Panic was removed from office on Dec 29, 1992, after losing no-confidence votes in the country's parliament. Panic had held the office for five months. The action followed Panic's failed attempt to remove Serbian Pres Slobodan Milosevic.
