Publishing industry
Article Abstract:
Stocks in the various segments of the printing and publishing industry have not done well in the 1990's with a mature market and weak earnings momentum. A number of publishing companies have expanded their product delivery through home videos, CD-ROMs, and other alternative formats, and the textbook market has become bright with a new adoption cycle in major states. These stocks are not timely in 1999 and should follow the broader market, but investors should find some good selections in this industry.
