SARS exposes Asia's weaknesses

The spread of SARS in Hong Kong and Singapore has weakened them as they are often compared favorably with Sydney as a site for regional headquarters. The combination of poorly educated people in Asia, especially in China, underdeveloped public health systems and mass international travel pose yet another threat to the globalising of business.
